Diy Fascinator

I always loved retro vintage inspired fashion. I truly love fashion. Sometimes when I see something I like I end up searching the web for items that end up being way too expensive or no longer on sale. I usually see something and decide that if I can't buy it I will make it. Lately I keep buying tulle fabric and fishnet fabric to make fascinators with vails like the ones from the 1960s. Then I forget about it and it sits there waiting for me to make something out of it..... The other day I was watching the Carrie Diaries on http://www.cwtv.com/ and I fell in love with the outfit Carrie was wearing! I know it's over the top with lace tights, gold sequin dress and hat fascinator, yes please!!!! So it inspired me to keep making the fascinators I had started making last year and last time I wore one in public I was surprised at how many people asked me where they could buy one. So I will try to post pictures soon of how I make them.

Diy Native American costume

This year, my youngest son has to do a presentation and dress up as Native American Samoset. so i gathered information n searched for pictures of Samoset to put a costume together that will do him justice. It was hard to find any pictures of him. Samoset was a sagamore (subordinate chief) of his tribe so I desired to make a headdress.i wanted to make something that looks authentic but I couldn't find much information online of how to make one. I will try my best to make one and hope for the best

designer vs bargain-jeffrey cambell lita

i was searching the net years ago searching for high platform shoes and came across these multi glitter jeffrey campbell lita shoes. it was love at first sight i talked about it on my facebook status ......how i fell for the sparkly awesomeness but got flooded with comments of how ugly they are,but yet i still think they are awesome
so i ended up seeing these sparkly glitter shoes at charlotte russe.which suppressed my extreme lust for the glitter litas.the best part is that they were ONLY $35.50 when i bought them  now they are ONLY $17.49 so now i can just lust over the big selection of colors and styles the lita comes in

if you are familiar with jeffrey cambell you know that usually their litas are between $160-$200
which in my opinion isn't really that bad.it is a nice splurge.specially because the quality is better but of coarse if you cant afford that or are looking for a bargain there are places where you can find the same style of shoe way cheaper like these blue lace up platforms which are only $48.00

original jeffrey campbell $159.95
victoria1 laced up $33
you can always SPLURGE on the original or find
bargains out there like these

Whether you are looking to splurge or want to be good to your wallet that is all personal choice
